Bed & Breakfast Danae Villas, Cyprus Villages

Very, very poor and would not recommend at all. We certainly won't be repeating our stay in this or any of the other establishments owned by this company.

Tochni is a lovely village and the places to eat nearby are lovely. It serves as a good point for day trips to the surroundings too. The owner is very willing to share some local knowledge/help you out. The villa was nice. We had a little terrace with table, chairs and sunbeds. The pool, shared by only about 8 rooms (there's rarely anyone in when we wanted to be) was just down some steps. We had a kitchen for self-catering. Missing some washing up liquid but otherwise seemed to be well kitted out! The bathroom was a bit stuffy with no windows/ventilation but all worked well. No soaps provided though. Bedroom was nice - a good fly net over the bed and well-working air-con. Not much space around the bed though. Breakfast was a "help-yourelf" affair offering anything we could have wanted. Overall, we were very happy with out stay and would recommend to anyone else wanting a quiet, peaceful stay and helpful staff.

Das Hotel ist ideal für Individualreisende die nicht bespaßt werden möchten, sondern ungestört Urlaub in netten Apartments verbringen möchte. Der absolut unkomplizierte und freundliche Service ist superangenehm. Es ist alles klein und fein aber man hat alles was man braucht. Wer auCypern all-inclusive Urlaub im Hotel verbringen möchte ist auf der Insel sowieso falsch. Die Idee mit den einzelnen Appartements statt einer Riesenbettenburg ist die Art Tourismus die für Cypern hoffentlich zukunftsweisend. Wir waren superglücklich mit unserer Wahl und werden es an die Freunde weiter empfehlen die solchen Urlaub zu schätzen wissen.

Informed staff that the television wasn't working, was told she would get back to us but never did. Not a major problem hence the fact that we didn't remind her but found it a bit annoying at certain times. Apart from that we were very pleased and would certainly recommend the villas.

We stayed for four nights whilst attending a wedding in the village. The staff were very friendly and helpful, quite happy to prepare some food for us even though we arrived a 10.30pm. The room was lovely with a kitchenette if you wanted to cook for yourself and we had the use of a second pool in addition to the main one by the Taverna. The village is lovely and very handy for the motorway so getting around is easy but you do need a car if you want to explore. A really good value place.

The location is amazing! the staff is professional having warm attitude. our room had a nature view. and overall the place is very calm and cozy. definitely recommend!

mi principe hôtelier/ gîte rural cette formule est très intéressante , notre chambre était un peu petite mais la situation pleine de charme, le personnel chaleureux et disponible, le petit déjeuner parfait à la Taverne Tochni qui fait partie de l'ensemble piscine agréable 50 km Nicosie près de Larnaca 30 minutes prs du Troodos bon point de départ pour Paphos, Limassol , Aya Napa séjour excellent en octobre avec températures idéales

tout c'est bien passé, sauf que nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel à minuit, et là, personne pour nous accueillir et aucune réponse au téléphonne de l'hôtel...nous avons été obligés de dormir,la 1ère nuit, dans notre voiture!!!!!!!! Heureusement, le reste du séjour s'est bien déroulé

Parfait sur tous les plans avec le buffet du petit dejeuner excellent et les diners proposes excellents avec un cuisinier plein d inventivite et un personnel tres sympathique et efficace.

The accommodation was superb! The Tochni Tavern which included the Cyprus Villages Reception office was staffed by very helpful personnel. The check in procedure was carried out quickly and effectively even though we arrived after 11pm. The apartments were clean and tidy and the kitchen was suitably fitted out with oven, hob, kettle, toaster and various cooking utensils. The pool facilities were also excellent. There is also a public pool outside the Tavern and reception. All of the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming . The food served in the Tavern (breakfast, lunch (snacks) and evening meal) was delicious and the menu for the evening meal was extensive. (My only negative point is the access road which is quite rough at the present due to local building work but hopefully it will be fixed in the next few months). The apartments were within a short walk of the town (using a short cut). It is quite steep and hilly and therefore if you are not confident with steps I would not recommend this, however you can hire a car through the office at a reasonable rate which would alleviate this problem. The village itself is lovely and the people are very friendly especially the local shop owner who stocks just about anything you would require.
