Respect for nature onsite. Food at restaurant was amazing. Staff very polite and helpful. Views and surrounds....stunning.

Could have had a warm duvet on the bed for the time of year.

We were in the middle of the bush and it was so peaceful and quiet. It felt like we were really away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The tents were lovely and I especially liked the outdoor shower.

The tents were hot with the sun beating down on them. I don't think it would be very comfortable in summer as there is no a/c. But this is well advertised so it is not like we did not know.

Great spot, the deluxe plus tents were comfortable

No daily servicing and they didn't allow guests to use their wifi. Even though the daily rate was >$600. Luckily we had Telstra service.

The en-suite bathroom, open views, breeze, nice. And the big comfortable bed.

The location, the beds, the canyons, the environment!! It's a really lovely place to stay. The ensuite bathrooms are very convenient. The restaurant is expensive but has pretty good food despite the limited menu. Tents are well spaced out so you don't feel like you're in a standard caravan park. Disability access is pretty good for a national park in the remote arid zone.

The retreat needs to provide rubbish bins. Currently you only get a single 2L rubbish bin. We were there for 5 days and had to carry our own trash around. The smell of banana skins in a hot car for 5 days is disgusting!! The national park does not provide any bins and neither does the retreat. The retreat has a restaurant, so they obviously deal with their own considerable amount of rubbish. I understand not providing a rubbish service for every park visitor, but for the amount of money we were paying to stay at the retreat I think they could provide guests with access to rubbish bins.
