This rooms are very dated and old.Carpets very old and worn thin at some places,paint peeling off the walls and ceiling.Showers old and grubby.TV was broken and only replaced after numerous request.On a lighter note,the resturant and bar were good and staff very friendly.However the weekend we stayed,they were very busy and appeared to be short staffed.

The good: Breakfast with a mountain view was a lovely experience, very central / easy walk to the slopes and back. Accommodating with luggage after check out. Somewhere secure(ish) to store gear. Room was clean. The bad: rooms needs updating / maintenance - carpet in the rooms is old, the bathroom light kept strobing and turning itself off then back on, water was inconsistent in the shower (at times scalding hot then cold). You can hear conversations in other rooms (we luckily had quiet neighbours). Also note there is no lift and no assistance to carry luggage up or down the stairs, which was fine for us but might not be ok for others.

food was excellent room clean, tidy and comfortable.

Drying room for ski gear was not warm/hot enough. was difficualt to get our gear dry.

We love the Denman. Location is amazing. The food and service at the Terrace restaurant was top notch. Prices are up there but you get what you pay for at the snow. We'll be back next year.

Caring, friendly and attentive staff always ready to help. Neat, clean accommodation and hospitality areas.

Bathroom needs renovation

Great location, food was nice. A little expensive but worth it.

Having to move your belongings from reception to room, so far apart and stairs. Can be challenging for one person and also difficult when raining.

This property is rundown with owners who obviously do not care about looking after their hotel guests. The only good thing about this property is that it is centrally located.

There were so many things I did not like about this Property. The rooms are tiny and have not been updated in over 40 years. The furniture was marked and dirty. The rug in the open area was marked and dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows lumpy The TV unusable as it is placed high up in the corner of the room we would have to stand to watch it The bathroom had tiles that were cracked and was not properly lit. The rooms are up so many flights of stairs and there is no help offered with your luggage. The breakfast was ordinary We chose a room with a Mountain View and Veranda thinking it would be romantic and worth the money. It definitely was not. We paid $750 a night for what you would normally pay elsewhere between $80 and $100.
