Kauai Palms Hotel

Die Lage ist sehr zentral in Flughafennähe, trotzdem ruhig. Morgens gab es Kaffee und gekühltes Zitronenwasser. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

„Hotel“ klingt nach mehr, es hat eher den Charme eines Motels. Das Zimmer war doch sehr beengt. Alles sehr hellhörig. Bei Regen kann man auch unter der Überdachung nicht mehr draußen sitzen, weil es überall durchtropft. Eine Sitzmöglichkeit im Zimmer gab es aber nicht. Es ist zu empfehlen bei längerem Aufenthalt unbedingt ein größeres Zimmer/Apartment buchen!

Location

Room was not clean. Towels were the oldest and dingiest worn out pieces of rags. We used the beach towels instead. There was hair in the refrigerator The room looked like it no one cleaned it for a while because it was dusty

Close to airport

Parking is limited. Expensive nightly cost.

Very small rooms. Old motel type units that need upgrades. Noise when guests arrive in the evening after staff has left. No hotel staff available between 8pm and 8am. No coffee available in the room. Nearby eating options are minimal.

The staff and communication were both very good. Close to the airport and good local places nearby to eat. Also, coffee offered in the morning and plenty of parking.

Unfortunately, we reserved the only room without air conditioning so be mindful of that when making your reservation. Room #15 does have a fan but is also right next to the stairwell so a bit noisy.

It was quite literally the only thing I could find to rent after arriving in Lihue on the plane at 11pm, so it was where we had to stay. They had a key box so we could check in late and I felt like the staff were pretty nice.

It was $240 for one night, smallest room I've ever rented, uncomfortable beds, right next to the entry lot so it was loud and it felt like someone was outside the room every second from 6am on. It was a safe place to stay though.

Wir hatten eine kleines Zimmer mit Kitchenette. Es war funktionabel aber etwas mehr platz wäre schön gewesen. Die Klimaanlage hat wunderbar funktioniert und der Stellplatz war auch direkt vor dem Haus.

Es hätte können eine bisschen größer sein ansonsten alles gut
