Brian Head Lodge

I found the hotel to be beautiful, clean, well-maintained, and well-managed, with an excellent staff. The pool is definitely the highlight for the whole family, and the location is also great both for sightseeing and for relaxing. I really loved the hotel and would happily stay there again.

The room was great. The only issue we had was with a light fixture above the sink. On the first night, it wasn't working, so we asked for it to be fixed. After it was repaired, however, it would no longer turn off and stayed on throughout the night. It was a small inconvenience. As for breakfast, considering there are so many children staying at the hotel, I think it would be nice if the food options were a bit healthier and less greasy.

Room was nice.

Upon arrival we were told there wouldn’t be a king room as we needed on our reservation. But after moving some rooms around, they were able to get us one. The pool and hot tub are nothing like they look on the pictures. They did not look clean and were very small. We were told the restaurant closed at nine. We went there to eat at eight and they would not seat us because they said they had a 50 minute wait and it did not even look busy.

Comfortable room with easy-in shower with a shower hose and head, plus a chair. Fridge and microwave appreciated.

That facility has changed ownership since I stayed about 5 years ago, and sadly doesn't offer free breakfast anymore. My key card didn't word the second day (I stayed three nights), and I made two trips back to the front desk to get one that worked.

Pleasing design and decor, clean

Bed was not comfortable. Altitude seemed to affect us, perhaps disturbing our sleep. The AC fan cycled on and off continually. I finally shut it off and opened the window. My ear plugs were no match for the AC fan.

Priced right and the location is perfect. The coffee shop was perfect and competitively priced for the area.

The rooms aren't quiet--you can literally hear people walking and talking above you. I had to wear earplugs at night to sleep, and keep headphones on during the day to not be completely annoyed by the disruptions above and around me.

It looked and felt like a rustic place. Everyone was nice 🙂.

I got the altitude sickness and it didn't go away. I had to go back down the mountain
