Blue Palm Hotel

The staff was very nice and really helpful. We are from the US and needed to use a phone. One of the staff members let us use his own personal cell phone make a long call. They are very knowledgable about the area too. We are surfers and bird watchers. They told us where to go to get both. The rooms are cleaned daily. The house keepers are very nice as well. They were also very accommodating. The pool is also very clean and refreshing.

Its centrally located,comfortable room!airconditioning alittle loud .But it worked great and it is hot in jaco! I got the room for around $50. bucks and you can have a guest!

Limited electricity, on a timer so your power would go off if not careful no amenities , nice to go and sleep but there was no hot water and very poor lighting.

Friendly staff, greeted us with a smile. Good location, we were able to walk to the beach. The room was below average, the A/C was very loud and broke several times during our 2 night stay. The white towels they provide were stained. The "soap" they provide in the bottle is questionable... dark red, no suds, and very hard to wash off. Bring your own soap & towel. We are not fancy people but even for the price, this was not a bargain.

This place is a dump. Not a hotel but a MOTEL. No bolt or chain on the door, no hot water, beds felt like rocks, musty smell. Do not stay here.

It started with terrible customer service. The 2 people at the reception were very emphatic that if you lost something in the room or if we were causing any damage would be charged ... What kind of guests do they usually get? Like the TV, the air conditioner was very big and old - reckon from the 1980s. It was noisy and I woke up with a headache so had to chose between cold and noise or heat and silence. The extremely hard mattress and pillows with cheap old sheets and broken pillow covers. There was no hot water. Too expensive for what was delivered .. I feel cheated. Never staying there.

This hotel needs improvement and their facilities are in need of repair

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. Do not stay here. The painters splattered paint all over our rental car and the shower water had electricity running through it. The handle broke off of the door and we were told we had to pay for it or else leave the hotel. We were also told that if we didn't leave immediately, the police would be called to arrest us.

The place was very outdated. Pleasant workers.

The room was clean, the pool was very nice and Raul, the owner, as well of the crew are excellent people and also very helpful
