Blue Palm Hotel

stayed there one other time w/o incident. Went in Mar/2014 and brought the same girl back two nights. I get two charges on my cc. One for $20 and one for $40. I called up and spoke with the owner and he said there is a $20/night charge to bring a woman back. I argued that it was advertised and I had no problem last time. Then I mentioned I was brought the same woman back two nights so where'd he get $60 at? One thing after another. Shady joint!

Construction next door. No hot water. Hard beds Rooms very out dated I didn't want to walk around in my room without shoes on. Refrigerator didn't work.

Expecting more for my money, they should reduce the rate in this hotel $35 to $45 is fair rate, when you pay $70 or more, you are expecting to receive a better room, better installations.

We first stayed in first level, small, door hard to open and close, no windows, bugs. we were then given a new room, much larger with windows no bugs we were happy with the 2nd room and the owners were wonderful to us. front desk guy he spoke English and he was excellent to our needs. The above rating was based on our first room with this hotel.

up to expectations

I'd rather sleep on the beach than in this place...

The AC was a huge + in both rooms i stayed in. The second room didn't have a TV but i was informed of this before it was booked since i originally had 2 nights booked in the first room and decided to stay an extra 2 in the second. Front desk was very helpful and made me feel at home. As well as a security guard who was on duty in front of the hotel that certainly added to the comfortability of my stay. If you are looking for a hotel thats not in the thick of the craziness of downtown this is perfect and quiet spot just up the street with about a 10 minute walk for any type of food/desert/beverage etc.. Construction is still going on next door between 7am-5pm but who wants to stay coop'ed up in your hotel room on vacation wether its business or leisure

Dirty sheet and mattress Alarm System on all the time

Basic Everything at $96 a night 3 persons, not happy at all. Dirty plastic patio table and chairs in room to dine at...Yuk Their energy saving system shuts off power when you leave room so air conditioner is off also and room is a hot box when you return. Old bed linens that were pilled and felt awful. One of the few rooms available that week (Dec End) and I know why.

Our stay at Blue Palm was all in all quite mediocre. The beds were ok, the kitchen wasn't fully stocked and the wi-fi did not work in our room. There was construction going on right beside the hotel (new condos) so sleeping in or afternoon naps were not really an option. The hotel is about four blocks from the main shopping area and five blocks from the beach.
