FabHotel Prime Shervani

Great stay in great locality. Nice hotel with good trained staff. Good food as well.

Pretty good hotel but WIFI very very slow. After I complained about it, hotel management appeared to be upgrading the guest IT system as evidenced by a tech installing new LAN cable(s) or at least new plugs on the old cables.

The Shervani is in a quiet high-end residential area just next to the Zoological Park. 15 - 20 minutes by tuc tuc from Connaught Place, depending on traffic. It is only 2 years old, but we had to ask for hot water every night, which we eventually got. No air conditioning one night, as they had installed individual wall-mounted A/C units, that required some fine tuning.

We choose this hotel because it was close to the train station where we were meeting friends.

The first room I was in had some slightly broken lights and AC (which was tough as it was VERY hot while I was there) but the second room was much better. The staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was decent, and the location and neighborhood were incredibly convenient. It was also nice and quiet, so good for 4 days of meetings. Although the hotel as a whole could use some refreshing, it was fine.

The staff at Shervani were very nice to me. I like their concierge service; they will arrange any Taxi needs, and setup tours around Delhi and India. The staff also gave great advice of what to do in Delhi. They will also arrange a shuttle for you on your arrival. The food was pretty good too. I ordered some items off of the dinner menu. The food was of high quality and had good proportions. The breakfast buffet is pretty good too. As for location, you are in a very posh area of Delhi behind a gated community. A few blocks down the road is a pastry bakery, a host of shops, a few parks, an upscale restaurant, and a Zoo.

Personalen var himla glad och trevlig! Allt var rent och fint. Frukosten duger. Inte mer. Läget är lite utanför allt centralt men himla tyst och bekvämt i stökiga delhi.

The bathroom needed to be renovated..it was old and dirty looking. There were dirty mattresses in the hallways...Disqusting.

Beware of the room with no window (#207). Hotel is small and extremely overpriced.
