This is a cosy location away from all the noise of a big city.

The hotel is situated in a gated area where many rich people live here. I can see that it was a high end hotel back 10 or 15 years ago to cater the guests of these rich people, with only 19 rooms. However, without good maintanence and continued upgrade, the hotel gets old as well as the facilities. Overall, it's a decent hotel in India standard. The hotel staff are generally friendly and very helpful, but some night shift junior staff is not as good and somewhat "cunning" to foreigners.

This hotel is small and in a gated area which is good for security reasons. If you want to flag a auto rickshaw, walk up to the gate and one will pick you up and take you to the city area or any tourist attraction for a very reasonable price. Make sure you head to Chandi Chowk for a look. It is a market area with great bargains to be had. The hotel itself was very clean, nice and the rooms had all that you will need. The window blinds where closed and this is because it looks at outside walls with no views. The breakfast room had a small buffet area and you could ask for your eggs cooked however you want. We ate in one night and the food was quite pleasant. If I was ever to return to Delhi, I would once again stay at this hotel.

I went for a conference and we first go to Oberoi, which is unbelievably expensive. So I moved to Shervani. This was my first time in Delhi and India. I was told the Indian hotels are unclean. But Shervani is really good. Clean and comfortable. The staffs are friendly. But still Shervani is a little bit expensive. Of course much cheaper than Oberoi.

Located fairly far from old Delhi, this hotel is within walking distance to the Metro, about 200 m. Excellent service, good food and very helpful staff. A pleasure to stay here. They even had mosquito repellent. Only negative is that the rooms do not have TVs.

Hello everyone, I am writing some feedback from a westerners and single woman's perspective only. I am from Toronto, Ontario and traveled to India on my own for pleasure. The Servani hotel is located in an upper class neighbourhood. The building itself has some years on it but I is relatively meets your needs in all areas, phone, tv, internet, breakfast and service delivery. The staff go out of their was and this is no lie!! I got good advice on shopping areas and dry cleaning was done promptly since I was moving to another city and needed some clean capris. I would stay at this hotel ffor it is peaceful than the hussle and bussle of the city centre hotels. You do have to take a cab or a tuktuk to ge the city centre but once you return you all would be grafeful of the peace. There are NO beggers in this area and knowone pushing you to see their rug stores..lol You can stay out late for their is guards everywhere. There are also guard gods that belong to some of the mansion owners. To conclude: this hotel is very safe for westerners and solo travelers. It is not the 4 seasons but it is not a dive either is is a clean, safe and kind older boutique hotel with all the same amenities. The free internet offers a good advantage plus A one service staff. I would be lying if I need not say they were all professional and gracious. Well done!

Clean and comfortable hotel. The hotel is situated not far from sights. It is located in a "rich" neighborhood where they close the gates at 11pm for people not living there. It felt safe going out at evenings. The service was irreproachable. The best hotel we stayed in India.

Simple but quite clean and had everything that we needed. The food was the best we ate in Delhi.

It's a very good hotel!!
