The Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North

The staff were AMAZING! Andrew was amazingly friendly, accommodating and just an absolute joy of a human. Joseph in the restaurant makes a mean skinny macchiato and is just so caring and kind. The white tea smell and cleanliness is just so inviting. The small details like a cool towel after a workout and the amazing white tea body wash are wonderful. The bedding and pillows and blackout curtains helped deep sleep. I'll not only stay again bit will recommend to anyone who will listen!

Broken elevator, leaving only one that worked. No pool bar service, Manager stated you can order outdoors however this was not available during our stay. Seemed more service people needed at restaurant, lobby bar not open every day, We dine at various Shula's , this location limited menu/wine list, Food was good however it was served cold. Not much of a snack store. Appears the pool area needs updated and up keep.

Goed hotel als tussenstop na aankomst in Orlando, waarna start rondreis Florida. Leek ons niet direct een hotel om lang te verblijven. Alhoewel er veel families met kinderen waren die gebruik maakten van het zwembad.

Ligging. Weinig in de buurt.

Big spacious bathroom, clean comfortable room, friendly staff. Loved the duvet comforters!

Something happened with the AC unit during a storm, which left our room very humid, Even after the problem was fixed, the sheets/bed linens stayed feeling moist.

The room was spacious though the wardrobe space was limited. Gym and pool were a nice addition. Location opposite restaurants and a supermarket was great.

Room was not clean at all. Bedside table and floor were thick with dust. Bed sheets on one bed had a hole in and were ripped. Despite asking for them to be changed only one sheet was changed. I had to ask housekeeping every day to make up the room which they did but never cleaned. All pump dispenser complimentary toiletries were empty on arrival. Again we had to request these. When we came to pay the bill we had been overcharged by another guests dinner bill from the restaurant. It took a number of hours and speaking to two different staff to get this resolved and even then the bill and explanation were not clear. I found the whole stay rather disappointing as I have used Westin chain a lot previously for business travel and found them to be of a good standard.

Great location. Comfortable mattress, room looked clean. Restaurant downstairs was great.

Embarassingly poor quality blanket. More pilling on that old scratchy thing than I would give to my dog. Strange since there was a nice clean fluffy blanket on top of the bed. Why on earth would you give a customer that quality at one of the top rated hotels in the area. Overall the place needed a reno, pictures made it look much nicer on Booking. Poor temperature control in the room (cold or off were only options). And double check the bill! We got charged for water that we did NOT drink.
