Hotel Petra

Booked for 5 nights, we wished we stayed for longer. Rome was everything we expected and more, and how do you top that....... with a great hotel to rest those legs after all that walking. A fantastic nights sleep in a quiet area is what's needed. Hotel Petra provide's all that you need, great rooms, great location and great staff. All good comments about this hotel are true, so all we can do is to confirm and repeat what they say. Big thanks to Fabio, Stefano and Giannie (apologies if spelt wrong). To us, its the little things that make a stay memorial, Rooms are large and clean. Great breakfast. My wife's birthday treat was great. Any queries we had, you guys answered. Nothing was a problem......(well almost......see below) We said that we are coming back. But next time we are bringing friends and family. Only problem was that the outdoor pool was closed, so could not have a swim, "but hey! - it is November the 14th" Many thanks and see you again. Mad Englishman.... Kev and Kerry

We booked and paid through Wotif.com to stay at the “Hotel Petra - Rome” for one night some months before the date of our stay, the Wotif website and the “Hotel Petra” web page clearly stated A/C, free WIFI in the room, swimming pool, refrigerator, satellite TV, tea/coffee facilities, bath tub and shower. On arrival to Hotel Petra and after a wait and a couple of phone calls we eventually got shunted (with no explanation) to another hotel the “La Mela” Hotel a few kms away which was horrible. Hotel Petra staff were the absolute worst we have ever met.

I just spent five days at Hotel Petra and do not have an unkind word for the hotel or the staff all my expectations were exceeded. The staff were unfailing kind to me and went out of their way to make the experience there fantastic including rolling out a red carpet for my lovely daughter to walk down so as not to soil her wedding dress as we loaded into the sleek M7 BMW that took us to her wedding ceremony. When in Rome do as the Romans do...stay at the Hotel Petra.

Indeed, I highly recommend Petra hotel if you're looking for a serene place near Rome vicinity. The service were outstanding. Staffs were very friendly and accomodating. Very homey. One of my favorite is the free shuttle to my workplace :)and to the station. Nevertheless, Rome sweet Rome...

Facilities: Horrible, no aircon kettle pool a; Value: Unreasonable; Service: Inferior, Rude; Cleanliness: rubbish left behind; we booked hotel petra and were shuffled to another hotel called la mela a few km away. it did not have any of the advertised facilities

Ottima sistemazione e personale molto accogliente. camere ampie e confortevoli. Metro a 5 minuti di macchina e quartiere molto tranquillo.. Consiglio vivamente

홈페이지에 나와있는 사진과는 많이 다릅니다. 많이 낡은 편이고(콘도 같은 느낌) 객실이 청결하지 않습니다. 로마 지하철 A선 종점이라 로마에 들어가기에는 편한편입니다. 렌트해서 가시는 분들은 지하철역에 공짜로 주차하고 로마로 들어가시면 돼서 편리해요. 종점이라 늘 앉아서 갈 수 있어 편리했습니다. 호텔 주변은 조금 으슥한 동네라서 산책할 만한 곳은 없습니다.

Camera tranquilla colazione abbondante. Non funzionava il ristorante, visto la zona decentrata in cui si trova se non hai la macchina è un problema.

Ottimo servizio e particolare cortesia del personale in servizio colazioni unica. Pecca è nella mancata segnaletica dell'hotel e di sera è un po' difficoltoso raggiungerlo.

English speaking front desk personnel was a plus as well as metrobus tickets available at desk for 1.50 euros. Bus drivers not willing to help to find or be dropped off close to hotel location, end up walking back about two miles to get to hotel. Free Internet WIFI was intermittent at best. A/C not working properly.
