Heron Cay Lakeview Bed & Breakfast

The breakfast was superb. The location is easy walking distance into the town center, but is on spacious grounds. Margie, the innkeeper/owner is a real pro. She has been hosting people for over 30 years. Her hospitality and kindness in the way that she treated us as guests was exceptional. The ambiance she created in the public spaces left us with the feeling that she has not lost her true enjoyment in what she does.

Breakfast was just okay. Room was comfortable. Bathroom was more than adequate.

Breakfast timing was a bit late for our taste. Also the pool was not functional - a disappointment. The walk up the hill to get to town was a "stretch" for us considering our walking abilities. Coffee pot in room was in closet and no where to plug it in.
