Beautiful atmosphere and beautiful antiques

Pool was dirty, ruined our plans to use it. No way to control room temperature. Awakened early AM to pounding on the roof. Part of breakfast was good. Meat and eggs were not good. Front entrance was cluttered with hoses and equipment presenting a fall hazard

"Unexpected Surprise!!!"

I read all the reviews and chose the Heron based on that, however to our surprise the Inn is even better and more pleasant !! Amazing gourmet breakfast and perfect host as it should be with all B&B stays which are now rare to find. We will return !!!

"Mt Dora relaxation"

The old fashion bed & breakfast feel in a house filled with antique furniture. Large room with beautiful grounds. Mango trees and pineapple growing everywhere. A beautiful pool where I sat and ate a delicious gourmet breakfast. Walking distance to downtown area. Mt Dora has wonderful restaurants some with renowned chefs to fit any budget.

Nothing I didn't like about the property. FYI: No grocery store within walking distance. The restaurants and bars close pretty early but this an upscale kind of area and is to be expected.
