Schloss Roxburghe is a beautiful estate with nice gardens and a heritage hotel. It has a lot of charm and feels you like a king. We loved especially the whisky bar in the evening. The service is outstanding

I rated a 9 instead of 10, because of the cottages we stayed. All brand new, good equipped and of high standard, but they lack a bit of charm and feel rather practical. If you have the choice to stay at the hotel or the cottage go for the hotel. However this is a critic on very high-level, as said with a 9 rating, I would always come back

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a scenic location. Spa facilities were wonderful. £25 shop credit for breakfast was more than adequate for four people. All staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.

I was unaware that hotel guests have more allocation to spa than cottage guests. I have visited on two occasions and have had to wait til 6pm to enter the spa as there are no available beds, although on this occasion there were beds available and we were informed they were for hotel guests.

Stunning location, beautiful and comfortable rooms, the staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Spa facilities were really nice and relaxing.

The food at dinner was extremely disappointing and expensive. We ordered the Mac & Cheese which was £30 and it was literally just boiled pasta with parmesan on top, it looked the part but had no flavour whatsoever which was unexpected especially given the price.
