"Lovely hotel with great facilities"

Beautiful hotel and location with a great mix of facilities and activities . Cottages are spacious and market shop has plenty options for breakfast . Enjoyed golf, spa and driving range. Great whisky bar and lots of lounge areas to relax in.

Small details let it down, huge increase in day spa prices since our last visit in December, drain smell in cottage, key card to cottage didn’t work ( has happened before) which is annoying on arrival , credit for breakfast can only be spent before 12, so not on the day of check in. Restaurant is a bit formal and bar menu only has 4 options in total so a bit limited.

The setting is fabulous, much nicer in person than the pictures suggest. Everything within the Hotel is top notch.

"Wonderful place to stay just a few niggling episodes food and service but nothing to complain about."

Very nice choice the full english breakfast left in warming containers was a little cold.

Our main meal on the first night at Charlies was a long time coming we had to ask a waitress where our food was?
