It’s a lovely cottage where it was just relaxing and so peaceful listening to birds chirping

Disappointed that facilities at the hotel are not included when you’re a cottage and have to pay extra to use them. In my opinion the facilities should be used by hotel guests and guests staying at cottages.

Service was below average Breakfast would have preferred for 5 star to be service and not buffet. Little things like no teaspoons on table and toaster that took over 5 min to toast bread.

Picturesque location. Very nice cottages. Clean.

Check-out was quite a hassle. The hotel charged my card on arrival and then tried to charge the same amount again at check-out. The first member of staff could not explain the charges, and it took around 20 minutes for another staff member to sort out the refund. Had I not checked my banking app, I probably would never have noticed the duplicate charge. Not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.
