Location was excellent . Breakfast was quite ordinary. We liked being able to light the wood fire.
The bowl that held the toilet brush was very smelly- so had to clean it. The washing machine was very grubby inside. The laundry itself was very dirty . The garden was in a terrible state - such a shame for a property of this calibre. The chairs on the verandah were not in keeping with the style of the house. We found the bed quite lumpy.

The room was beautifully decorated in the style that befits the historic home. We didn't want for anything during our stay, including a lovely array of food for our breakfast.
