Breakfast was great and location excellent.very quiet

Charming old house. Met the owner who was very kind and welcoming.

The breakfast was something we should prepare ourselves which we were not aware of. The things were ready in the fridge but we enjoy being taken care of when on vacation

Idyllic stay ......when travelling first thing ......washing .....lovely washing room with an actual line ..perfect for this part of our journey dabbed out hung on line went for walk into town for supplies at local bakery et c back and all dry .....sat in the lovely garden for supper ....peaceful listening to the birds ......good location plenty of shops restaurants et c ........yes it is self catering but they leave supplies of breakfast goods .....we liked it because you had privacy with plenty of outdoor space .......

Stayed here 1 night as last stop on Great Ocean Road. Had large apartment with combined lounge, kitchen and dining area. Separate bedroom, and good size bathroom. Breakfast supplies provided (bread, eggs, butter, jam, fresh fruit etc) along with various kitchen supplies. Private parking right at the front. Robe House is a very old building and retains lots of original features which adds to its charm. There is a large garden to sit out, and a bbq area. We found it very quiet even though the other rooms were occupied. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants. Would happily stay here again.

The accommodation was booked by our travel agent and perhaps we should have done a bit of research. When we arrived there was nobody around and it was not clear which room we had. We telephoned the number we had been supplied with but there was no reply and we also phoned the number that is displayed on the board outside the property only to discover that this number was for a previous owner. Eventually another couple turned up and discovered who had which room, The room we had was very good although it was a little dark. It is in a good location, close to the town and there is a good walk close by. On the documentation we had the property is described as Robe B&B and was a little surprised that an owner / manager was not at the property. I have never been to a B&B where breakfast is totally do it yourself.
