Leonardo Inn Hotel Hamburg Airport

Prepaid price ended up much higher upon check out. Don't understand why. worked well for a fly in in the evening and out in the morning.

Hotel is close to Airport, Good clean hotel, Staff speaks English OK, Not noisy like some airport hotels, Need to pay parking fee if you drive there about ten dollars a night. Basic breakfeast buffet ok, coffee,juice,cereal,bread,some fruit,a few pastries,cheese,salami,(precooked) scrambled eggs, bacon,link sausage.,etc. I got there two days earlier than my one night prebooked reservation. It wasn't any problem, except they won't let you have the same prebooked rate, somewhere about one and a half times as much. Not very many resturants close by, three blocks walking distance and a little cashy.

I wanted a nice, clean, quiet place to sleep during a long layover. This hotel met my needs. It was very easy to to the suttle to and from the hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located near the airport - within easy walking distance. Very clean and the staff was very helpful. The complimentary transportation did not start until 5:00AM which did not work with my early morning flight. The complimentary breakfast was not actually complimentary and I paid $10.50 Euro for it - however the quality of the buffet was good. It was a good value overall and I would recommend it as a good choice for an overnight stay near the Hamburg airport.

It was so uncomfortable and I felt so bad when I saw that I can not change my hotel because of your statement on the bill, saying that " the payment is not refundable due to "EARLY CHECK OUT" . I did not see this note at the time of booking , I saw two hours after in my email. I coun't sit on the chair to work on my computer , so so weak internet connection and also I had asked at least one queen bed, while they had attached two single bed together and gap in between killed me.One week with torture I travel a lot and this was the worst hotel I have used so far

Nice older hotel. Dining not available. Basic nice hotel room. No elevator which caused us to carry 3 large suitcases up the stairs to our room.

The only complaint I have is the bathroom door needs replacement.

My basement room had a loud clicking sound coming from somewhere in the ceiling over bathroom. Every second or so with occasional pauses. Finally called front desk at 12:30 and they said they were full, but after coming down to hear noise, he found an available "deluxe" room on an upper floor where I was able to dose between takoffs and landings.

This hotel is adequate when needing to stay near the airport. The hotel is located about a three minute drive and 10 minute walk from the airport. The rooms are adequate but nothing more. The hotel is quiet and the staff are helpful. The breakfast available in the morning is above average.

Pleasant stay, friendly staff and no aircraft noise.
