Great large room with corner bath and seperate shower

The hotel met our needs perfectly. It is close to the airport. Only a 15 minute walk with luggage if you have an early flight.

The hotel is located less than a 15 minute walk with luggage from the Terminals at the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was undergoing some renovations at the time we were there.

The hotel is old, but they keep it clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The location at the airport is nice and central. The staff was friendly and they offered an (at best) ordinary typical buffet style German breakfast. The bad: I had the impression that the breakfast was complimentary, since nobody told me otherwise until I checked out. I was being charged 10.00 Euro per day for breakfast, which consisted of one roll and a bit of butter and jelly. That, plus the surprise 10.00 per day parking fee in their parking lot and the breakfast made for a nasty extra $200.00 surprise charge. The free WIFI did not work during my stay and I found myself without communication (skype) since that is the only way I can use my US cell for calls from and within Germany.

very basic accomodation (who gave it 3.5 stars?), not very clean and price is high for the level it is. Breakfast isn't even included.

The hotel is competent and serves the purpose. It is close to the airport and I can recommend it anyone who is in transit with a overnight stay.

Nice hotel, personal touch unlike the big ones around. Windows keep airport noise out well. The rooms could do with a little makeover though.

I stayed at the Leonardo (formerly “Airlines Hotel”) for two nonconsecutive nights (in two different rooms) anchoring my five-day trip to Germany. The location is unbeatable – I walked to and from the airport terminal in less than 10 minutes. Also, they let me check in early but gave me a room in the basement (the second time I had a room upstairs which was bigger and more modern). Fast wireless (small fee). Other than that, the Leonardo is a typical example of “you get what you pay for”. One thing puzzled me, though: strangely enough, both of the rooms had large spiders in the bathrooms, and I doubt it was the same one following me around…

Close to the airport and much more reasonable than some of the airport hotels. For that early flight it was great. The only downside was no elevator. Parking is 8 euro for guests. Our room had air conditioning although that day was cool. WiFi is 4 euro for 24 hrs - the signal in my room was a bit week and once i had to move closer to the door. I would stay there again. The rooms were spacious and clean.

We stayed here just one night because we wanted a hotel close to the airport because of our late arrival. This location was perfect. However, we had two large suitcases, and with no elevator and me being pregnant, my husband had to do a lot of hauling. There was also no parking by the time we arrived that night, so my husband had to drive around the block and park on the grass in the rain. Not a deal breaker, but was not ideal. Also, air conditioning would have made the room more comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable.
