Safety and quietness

Old carpets and smell. Inability to use the bath and basin due to lack of stopper

The staff are unfriendly, poor customer service, the receptionist couldn’t find my bookings . I was very disappointed and emotionally distressed! I think for my mental health I would never again book with Expedia to stay at African hotel !!!!

Tasty mix of international cuisine and traditional African breakfast. The quantities were abundant. Staff was very friendly as well and the services were clean. There was also a gym that was great and pool facilities.

Nothing to add - we were very satisfied by the trip. I would come back here at any time.

Staff was very friendly and helpful - excellent there. Reception staff cheerful, helpful, and eager to provide good service. Business center guy helped by diagnose & figure out a good workaround for a computer problem that won't be able to be fixed til I'm back home.

Facilities are a bit run down and dingy, breakfast pretty limited for the price, elevators slow, in-room windows (sliding door to balcony) did not seal well, making the room noisy and the a/c inefficient. Would be a decent choice for $60/night, but disappointing & overpriced at the $120-150 they charged. Restaurant service interminably slow - like 1/2 hour to get a cup of coffee!

Excellent breakfast, especially the juice, worth dying for. The personnel are very respectful. the conference experience is also excellent with sumptuous meals served timely. I particularly love the amenities in the rooms, the pillows, the TV experience is also worth mentioning, with the hotel trying to cater for a multitude of audiences.

1. A very beautiful stay, very kind and helpful staff. 2. My little challenge with internet connection was swiftly sorted. 3. The idea of calling guests every evening to confirm that everything is working out fine is really genius, keep it up! 😊 4. In summary, all the staff I interacted with always acted like owner, very impressive. Africana is truly "Home away from Home".
