Shewe Wana Suite Resort

Great hotel , beautiful 2 bedroom suite and balcony overlooking pool , Only little complaint the couch - sofa are not real comfortable , but really that is it .

Well located in lovely position on the river.Complimentary river boat takes you to main river taxi/ferry terminal and sky train stop so 2 of the best ways to get around the city are close at hand . Couldn't fault hotel in any way..staff helpful..breakfast great. Lovely pool. Every touch in room you could think of. Perhaps rooms could do with a coat of paint and an update but overall fab and good value for money.

We were travelling with our adult daughters to Chiang Mai and this hotel was wonderful for us. The suite room was very spacious and had a relaxed, elegant feeling. The staff of young ladies was outstanding- so friendly and helpful making us feel totally at home. Nice swimming pool although the way it is located there is minimal sunshine and the water was cold. It is a garden in the midst of a rather ugly neighborhood. Not real close to the action of town and the night market but walkable and a short tuktuk ride away.

I would like commend on the excellent service and comfortable stay at the Shewe Wana resort last week. Though the location is a bit away from the night market, the staff made all the difference in our stay. Their friendliness and attentiveness to details were remarkably amazing. Truly a great place to stay if you are traveling with kids. Highly recommended.

I was very pleased at first glance to check into this lovely boutique hotel. From staff greeting me and making me feel welcome in the beautiful lobby, to a very nice lunch in the coffee shop I was truly happy to be here. The suite from their website boasted a working kitchen. The suite I had was lacking a microwave and or any plates, silverware anything to cook on so other than keeping water cold the kitchen was useless. Throughout my stay I required reservations confirmed and other reservations made and the front desk staff were very capable of meeting my expectations. The problem I had besides the lack of a working kitchen as described on their website was an issue with one of the room service servers. He was less than honest when collecting payment from me for a dinner order. When I, exhausted from a long day of activities, had to walk back down to the lobby to try and explain that there was a problem my integrity was questioned. It took many attempts for the issue to be addressed and when I finally was able to go back to my room, the soup that I had ordered as well as the main course were ice cold...and ruined. This whole thing left me sour. There are so many beautiful places to stay in Chiang Mai, I would never stay at this one again.

Fantastic hotel in a quiet location but very easy to access the rest of the city. Free Tuk Tuk provided to the Night Market is great too. The staff are always on hand to help (Although just a security guard through the night). The rooms (suites) in the main hotel are amazing, the perfect place to chill and unwind.

From the street, it doesn't look like much, but once inside, it is perfect! The staff overwhelmed by treating us with incredible kindness and professionalism. Our suite was GREAT with comfy couch, great balcony, separate bedroom, awesome furniture, and a relaxing jet tub separate from the nice shower. The front desk staff knew English so well...the best we have heard in Thailand. My wife and I have lived in Asia for 18 years and love to get away just the two of us, and this place was the best! We now want to go back to Chiang Mai just to stay at Shewe Wana again!

The natural beauty of the plants, aroma of the flowers and spacious suites are amazing! Every single staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The resort is about a 10 minute walk from the old city center, so out of the chaos a bit, but close enough to get there easily. We stayed there with our family of 5, in a two-bedroom suite.

our stay was very pleasant we were welcomed with a smile and were made feel special which was nice after a long plane trip. The staff could not do enough for you they made sure you were comfortable and had everything you required,even organising tours which would be better suited to our interest.

good, silent and nice hotel if you don't mind the location is not convenient (far from bazaar, hard to get a convenient shop, massage shop or restaurant) recommend for honey moon. Breakfast is very good, immediately make after order (but still "all you can eat"). Main pt: Family room is good with a double bed and a single bed. space is enough for 3 adults.
