Moonlight Bay Resort

Nice and comfortable little bungalows, very quiet, staff is very helpful and nice, food at the restaurant is excellent! Very small beach, but lots of long chairs and a nice pool. It is a bit far from everything, but you can rent a scooter or take a taxi /tuk tuk to other places.

The resort is very good given that the rooms are on a hill (hill-top rooms). Clean and nice rooms, spacious balcony with good sitting arrangements. The resort presents a very nice view of the sea, and has a swimming pool too. It is hard to swim or even sit in the sea there for long as the sand is very coarse and the bed is rocky at places. It is far from the main Saladan Pier, but as mentioned earlier, it is good for couples looking for some quiet time to relax, so that was a positive for me. The famous beaches are also not in the close vicinity, but taxis/ tuk tuks are available most of the time. Overall, it was good to be there.

The room was small but balcony is huge. Everything else is fine.

Staff was incredible, views from room amazing. The entire facility was very well kept and clean, Ken and staff amazing, love the sleeping near waves on beach, I will definitely come again

Sea side view room was wonderful ! Clean , comfortable and very romantic, watching the sunset every evening . Only negative with room, it said blackout curtains but there was none . Also, no blind on window in the bathroom ! Which meant no privacy. All minor things. Sadly the big downfall for us was the restaurant , the food is obviously expensive but the quality is very poor. I would honestly find an alternative for lunch and dinner . Breakfast, was ok but only good when more people are staying ! Seems a better selection and they don't always replenish, we had to ask a few times for fruit and juices . All in all that is seriously the only thing, for us that really could do with improvement . It's in a truly lovely location , rooms are spacious, comfortable and the staff are welcoming ! Especially Ken! Cheers for a lovely stay at moonlight

The service was excellent. We were bowled over by the warm hospitality and consideration of the staff. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. It was a pity we went during low season - the restaurant and bar were closed, but that meant we had the pool to ourselves, and the resort wasn't overly crowded. Nice, personalized service.

Hotel was beautiful but somewhat secluded. Not really walking distance from main beaches or restaurants. Very nice and helpful staff and restaurant food was great!! Lots of stairs to get to rooms which is something to consider...

Absolutely stunning resort. Fantastic Spa, loved their staff. The bar might be one of the prettiest i've been to. Perfect for a sunset. The bar tender was so kind & I liked the music he played. Beautiful chairs & cabanas looking onto the ocean, but not many so snag your spot! I was really unimpressed with the restaurant staff. The breakfast was good but not amazing. The bathroom was sufficient, nothing to write home about. No conditioner, common in Thailand. The resorts electricity was out when i arrived & did not go back on for four hours. I would expect a discount for not wifi, AC or alternative need for electricity, but did not receive one. Front desk staff was good enough. The bellman was amazing. Definitely advise booking a room in one of the huts on stilts, not rooms on the pool. The pool near the ocean is FAR superior. This Hotel is NOT walking distance to anything so you'll need to rent a scooter or take a tuk tuk. As the resort is on the expensive end for thailand, it's full of couples + young families.
