The hotel needs some drastic improvements in the way it operates. Very poor service levels and there does not seem to be any shortage of Snr Management at the facility. The pools had people fully clothed in both pools over 2 of the days we stayed there. This is very un-hygenic.
The room which I stayed was terrible, the lights in the room was dark, and lots of mosquitoes in the room, no matter in the bathroom, bedroom or the balkoni. I am wondering, is this kind of room consider a 4 stars hotel? By the way, there are still some stains on the bed sheets, smelly towel, and the room seems disrepair for many years. When I booked this hotel for my vacation, mentioned early check-in at 9am and requested for ONE king size bed. Before I reach Cherating, I called to Holiday Villa to confirm on my reservation, the reception told me there will be no available room (One King Bed) for early check in, there will only have 2 single bed which stack together. However, when I arrived the hotel at 9am, the reception mentioned there will be a charging RM100.00 for early check in, there is no any notice when I book for this hotel, then I wait till 3pm for the room available. After check in, I found that there do not have any king bed, it just a normal queen bed.

Staff very friendly, i had a candle light dinner and the food very good. Food knowledge by staff very well. Highly recommended for couple to spent their time
We book for king bed, then they provide us with two single bad. When we asked again they told us that the bed is upon availability. Later, when we told them that we book at their hotel because we had agreed on the king size bad. Later after 1 hour, then only they provide us another room.
Walking distance to beach and all other attractions. Horse rinding / Turtle sanctuary etc! And also delish local food nearby.
Well i just stayed for a day so nothing much to say however it is nice and clean. I can say its suite for family stays.
