TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Antonio Downtown Riverwalk

The ice storm that came through Texas made it completely unsafe to travel. I live three hours away and had no way to get to this hotel without putting myself at serious risk. SeaWorld, where we had tickets, was understanding and immediately offered us a raincheck. Unfortunately, this hotel showed no such compassion. They refused both a refund and even a credit, simply saying “sorry, no exceptions.” I contacted Marriott corporate and was told the decision was up to the hotel — and the hotel chose not to do the right thing. This was an uncontrollable weather emergency, not a change of mind. The lack of empathy and basic customer care is shameful. I won’t be returning.

I had a wonderful time with everything being so close in distance and Tommy with valet helped so much and made the experience easier with parking assistance and directions easy to follow

The convenience and location and the breakfast was amazing.
