Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lubbock Southwest – Wolfforth by IHG

The refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker did not work. The staff were rude and condescending to my wife

It was ok, the day time staff are good, very friendly and very accommodating. It was the night time staff that I don’t like. When we arrived in the evening after the event that we attended we asked for towels, she said that we will bring down the towels that we used so that she will give us newly washed towels. So we went up and down to get the used towels so that she will replace them to new ones. She was talking on the phone when we reached the desk. We waited for too long, then she login to the computer and asked our room number. She “checked” in the computer that took her long, she gave us 2 but we need 3 in each room. We had 2 rooms and there were 6 of us. When we arrived in the room there were only 2 towels per room and we already used them. We asked for 4 towels but she gave us 2 and we insisted we need 3. She did the same thing on the other room, we asked for 3 and gave us 1. She asked the room number of the other room and checked her computer again. My thing is, just towels. I’ve been in so many hotels but why this particular staff is so stingy of towels but the day time staff were good, no questions asked and no computer login. I hope this staff should improve her ability to deal with customers. Towels are part of their accommodation and they should provide them without questions. Thanks!

Staff was wonderful! Room clean; air and fridge both worked well.

Can’t check in due to not accepting my debit card. Have to get it refunded through Expedia.

The worst hotel experience ever!! Rooms were dirty. Bedding was disgusting and very dirty. Trash and dirty personal hygiene on floor in living room and bathroom. Carpets dirty. Pool and jacuzzi were not available to use. Went to the front desk to speak to staff about conditions of room was met with rude and rolling of eyes.

I wasn’t able to be checked in and no cash despite option was giving no other accommodations . They wouldn’t accept the credit card at the form desk but I paid in full with the same credit card
