Hilton Garden Inn Greenville

Staff and food were great. Had an awesome conversation with the chef our first night eating at the bar.

They have a snack station and free dog treats . Fresh cold water was provided which is perfect in the extreme heat

Birthday weekend. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful

Pleasant staff, clean rooms.

There was no body wash in the room. Also upon checking in we were told about breakfast and we had it available for us but the next morning when we went downstairs we were told we did not have breakfast signed off and it was a extra 15.95 per person. The overall hotel is not bad it’s just some miscommunication for me that had our stay fall short.

Hilton (Garden Inn) has a policy to cancel reservations on "no-shows" the first check-in day even if the reservation is for multiple days. This front desk was just fine with just refusing check-in within the reservation period and taking the booking money leaving you with nothing. With Hilton, you purchase the privilege to check-in on time, rather than have a room. Luckily, Trip Advisor refunded it.

I rented two rooms. They did not have a handicapped accessible room available for my aunt. She is 4’11” and 82 years old so she had difficulty that the bed was too high and the toilet was too low. Her room, 404, also had ants in it. Everything in my room was fabulous.

Nice and clean lobby.. Staff was attentive and pleasant.... However they had these dehumidifier machines that were hooked up to these long hoses. The machine was completely blocking the exit out to the patio and as a result, I couldn't go out there. Plus the machines were leaking water onto the floor and somebody could easily trip and fall over tbe hoses. My room had not been cleaned the first 3 days I was there. I had to go to the front desk and complain before they sent somebody.

We got to the room and saw there was a cockroach and ants. I called the front desk and kindly told the employee. He had been friendly enough but when I explained his tone changed to monotone and he shared that there weren’t anymore of our double bed rooms available. With a casual “sorry” I hung up and made the most of a dirty room. The pillows and sheets smelled despite being made up so I slept on top of the bed with a clean shirt over a pillow and a towel (looked and smelled unused) as a blanket. As we each settled onto our beds we quickly realized the beds are on metal of some sort that make a horrible metal on metal sound with the slightest movement. Needless to say, for even a motel this “Hilton Garden Express” was below par.
