We enjoyed our stay at Manso. The location on the Malecon is great. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Our only negative was the lack of an elevator. We are not young and the hotel occupies the second floor nd above.
This is a great location if you want to stay somewhere that feels local. It's so artsy, I loved the decor and the ambiance. My husband loved it too. A lot of things are made of sustainable materials and the food served is organic and vegetarian. It is not fancy but it is comfortable, and they had everything we needed (clean linens, hot shower), and then more as even laundry services, great location, decor, hamacas, etc.
Terrible internet services, overall ok, but nothing special. Great location. A little run-down. Ok for hostel-level travel, do not go if you are on business.
