Difficult to locate staff & coffee machine broken

Great reception, nice facilities, plenty parking, spacious room.

Navigating shower head was tricky but no probs. No dramas at all.

I loved how comfortable and clean the room was. The bathroom was great, nice and spacious. My partner and I loved it.

That it didnt have a microwave in the room or other utensils like plates, knife or forks. and the TV doesnt have other channels like movies, Netflix etc. Some of us have Netflix at home and can sign on with our own passwords.

Location close to family was good. Sports bar and bistro were great. Water pressure in the shower fantastic. Plenty of room for luggage in wardrobes. Quiet and dark despite being near main road. It was nice to have a lounge and table and chairs. On the night we stayed there was free entertainment so that was a bonus. (and I couldn't hear it from the room which was good). Toiletries in big pump bottles were nice ( and sustainable).

Windows were locked so no fresh air in the room. The room is very big but we would have liked 2 beds. There are twin/triple rooms but maybe there could be more. Also, with the size of the room, a separate sink would be good. Filling the kettle in the bathroom is not ideal. Parking is not good. It is in the open, not secure, and when we were there, huge puddles everywhere. A separate area, or allocated parking for hotel guests would be better. Its a long way to walk with luggage if the venue is busy. We travel a lot and the property has a lot of pluses but not good value for money. I think the lack of other options in the area means they can charge what they want. Cash is not accepted for security deposit but a surcharge applies for credit cards. There is a no alcohol policy so can't have a quiet drink in the room after dinner. Receptionists not friendly at all, but staff in bistro and bar were nice. I didn't like the idea of them taking my licence into a back room - for copying I presume, instead of just checking it.
