"Apart from the above issue with having to pay for 2 rooms the stay was excellent"

Excellent large room. Continental breakfast excellent

Not happy that I was told by booking,com that I couldn't get a room for 3 so had to book 2 rooms. Turned out that one of the rooms could accommodate 3 people so I wasted my money getting the second room.

We loved how clean our room was. Especially the bathroom and our bed. There was a microwave and a fridge. There was a good selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate in our room. The shower water pressure was great. The products in the bathroom smelt so good. Most of the staff were kind and enthusiastic making us feel welcome. On our last day we didn't make it in time for breakfast however, the staff member cleaning up was so kind and willing to turn everything back on for us. The late night hot food snacks were perfect. We had the chicken tenders and fish and chips. Hubby and I loved it!

Our key card wouldn't work on the lobby front door and for one night, our room. It was annoying to go up and down to sort it out. I called the hotel for late check-out and we were greeting by an asian lady who wasn't very nice. She had a careless tone and sounded like she didn't want to help us. Felt like we were an inconvenience for her. We expect better customer service from a receptionist. The breakfast range was okay. Hot food for breakfast should be available at a hotel like this. I wasn't a fan on the blue LED lights in our room. With the blue feature wall it made the room feel cold like a prison. It's my personal opinion but I think yellow lights would be much more inviting.

"Disappointingly"

Unfortunately when I asked about obtaining a roller bed for my daughter who had decided to stay the night, the older lady behind the desk was nothing but short and rude to us. I then asked if we could book another room and she huffed her way through the booking as if was a complete inconvenience. The rest of the staff were fabulous but she was disgustingly in her attitude to customer service

"Comfortable, could be improved"

Huge room, best shower ever, reception staff were amazing.

Cleaners were terrible, forgot to clean room on allocated days and when they did clean it they didn’t change glasses etc. Restaurant food quality poor. Ordered pork, received beef that was so dry and tough it was inedible.
