The Cullen Melbourne - Art Series

This place is terrible. One of the worse stays I've ever had at a so called premium hotel. The staff aren't helpful, it's falling apart, nothing works and it's dirty. Go to the Como!

This property is amazing. The facilities and cleanliness were top tier. The area is relatively loud with cars going down Chapel, but quiet until the morning more so than not. Will be coming back when we have to stay in Prahan.

I stay here between 2 to 4 times a year when I come for work trips, and it has been getting progressively worse. This time around there were even more disgusting stains on the chairs, curtains and carpet (they have always been there, but now it's getting worse); lacking supply of the essentials - hand wash, moisturising cream, tea bags. Not once have they cleaned my room during my stay. Walls are paper thin - I could hear one neigbour coughing and the other neighbours talking. I will not be returning, have had enough now. Fabulous location and comfy beds, but it's not enough anymore.

I’ve often stayed here, over the years it’s clear that a lot of the decor either hasn’t been updated or properly maintained. The staff are fantastic, that’s pretty much the saving grace along with the location of the hotel itself. A good freshen up in the rooms will make this place great option to stay in again.

I was really looking forward to staying in the Junior Penthouse at The Cullen 😎 My first impression of the room was that it seemed at lot smaller than the photos suggested (it was approximately 4 x 4 metres square. Very nicely decorated, nice clean bathroom, a big Internet TV & a very comfy King bed with spotless white linen & a selection of different types of pillows. The kitchen area had all the amenities you could possibly need .✅ However when I opened the wall length folding glass doors I was immediately let down by the state of the courtyard space 😱 It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months……& I felt quite uncomfortable being out there with cobwebs & dust everywhere. So my message to management is…. This is unacceptable, please …. clean the WHOLE “ Penthouse apartment “ ….before your guests arrive !

Great quality room, well kitted out kitchen, nice decor, good air con, and much bigger than I expected. Location is great, lots going on around the hotel but also easy access to centre via the tram. Staff very friendly. Good value for what you get I thought. Highly recommend!
