Baba Palace - A Heritage Hotel, Udaipur

Some of the best service and support I've ever experienced from any hotel in the world. It's a similar level to what I would expect from 4/5 star hotels in Europe or Dubai. Whatever we needed, they helped us and arranged it, even if it was difficult or not something normal. The location is central and perfect for exploring Udaipur. The restaurant is a beautiful place with safe, delicious and well priced food with friendly staff. They serve beer, and when traveling can be too much, this restaurant is the best safe space to return to for good, reliable food, a calm atmosphere and a nice view. The room was cosy and classical. We got it at a discounted rate, but even the full rate is an amazing value. I recommend the deluxe room. If I come back I will pick that. We had the standard, it was clean and nice but deluxe has even more space.

Location was great- really easy to get everywhere walking. Hot water was VERY hot!

It was not clean- the sheets were stained, had holes in them and generally looked very old. There were bad smells whenever we turned on the shower. The temple opposite has load music at all times of night- if you are the front of the hotel it will wake you up.

WiFi speed good enough to run a amazon firestick through TV, location, nice comfortable mattress

It took 2 days for them to change both tv remotes because they were faulty, not a battery problem

I chose this hotel thoroughly according to my habits and desires. And I was satisfied with the fact that it is located on the square of the old city opposite the main temple, where there is endless bustle, the movement of bikes and tookers. But! It is here that you will feel the authenticity of Udaipur. Moreover, the interior architecture is like in an old fairy tale. And 5 minutes from the ghat, where the newlyweds arrange sessions. Everything is nearby - food, fruits, shops. Cows, of course. Who didn't get into cow manure, he wasn't in India)) and even the wine store, which has Kingfisher beer and Old monk rum. The staff will always solve your problem.

Perfect location! This hotel is in the hub of Udiapur. The hotel has a beautiful roof top restaurant offering a wide variety of meal options. The staff have bent over backwards to accommodate my needs Donna Canada 🇨🇦
