China Clipper Inn

I loved the Victorian atmosphere of the Inn. The breakfast was different each day and was wonderful. (Quiche, biscuits w/sausage gravy, bacon and eggs with banana bread, and always fresh fruit) The staff was welcoming and helpful. Oh and the patio was just so cozy for sitting with a book and looking at the scenery! The furnishings were comfy and the little lamps were so cute. The extra plugs/charging stations at each bedside were extremely thoughtful! There were interior sitting areas with books to read upstairs and downstairs if you wanted to relax outside of your room. Very peaceful. Coffee, tea, and fresh water from a dispenser were available all day for our convenience. Not crazy about the bathtub/shower because It was not installed with good support at the bottom and it gave a little when I stepped in. It was a fiberglass shell-type. It’s one or two small blocks to some great dining and shopping. So you don’t have to drive to dine. Other than that, it was a pleasurable stay.

Beautiful property in Ouray. The owners are so engaging and knowledgeable and obviously very happy people! Our room was adorable and called the Cutty Sark. Terrific history of the Inn and the breakfast is fantastic.

China Clipper Inn is a fantastic B&B that we thoroughly enjoyed. It was clean, the owners were super charming and nice, and our room was spotless. We felt totally at home and enjoyed chatting with the other couples staying. There were several other young couples like us staying, it was awesome to make some new friends. There was a change in ownership right before our stay, the new owners have not missed a beat! If you are looking for a great place to stay in Ouray, look no further.

Clean, comfortable, quiet charming B&B conveniently located 1 block from Ouray Main Street. Affable host, breakfasts were outstanding. Great value for lodging.
