Nice place to stay for short time...Good food in surrounding Hotels..All types... Good value for Money paid

Nice location and service but rooms are quite old and full of cockroach and bedbugs.

Staying at Mallika residency was a moderate experience kiping in mind,its the cheapest hotel in Chennai.The staffs were very helpful and their services were definitly up to the mark.The ambience ws pretty calm and quite ,far frm d noises of d streets....but its location is bit far away from the proper city life in chennai but very near Chennai egmore and Chennai central station.

Location is not congenial. Service is very poor. Untrained staff. False claims of facilities.

People at the hotel specially at the reception were very friendly and eager to help in all possible way. It was a wonderful stay there and I would recommend this to other travelers!

good only to be used for was room purposes for a short span

The bed linen was stained and old. Even when it was replaced, the replacements were stained. Anyway, you only get one sheet, one blanket and a thin pillow. The staff knock on your door at all times of the day - even if you put a 'do not disturb' sign on your door. One will take a dirty towel, 10 minutes later another will knock to bring a clean one, 10 minutes later another will knock to ask if you want tea - and so it goes on and on. Each of them asks directly for a tip. One even offered to clean my room for R300! Surely this is part of the service you pay for! There is no Wifi despite what they may say on their web site. I would not stay at this hotel again.

It is a decent place for a short stay. The price is good. Woodland and Sarvana Bhavan at walkable distance.

it was the worst stay ever i had in my life till now So plssssssssssss dont recommend it for others

I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. We could not sleep all night because of 'bed bugs'. the staff kept denying...however we showed them the live bugs crawling on the bed. we were then given another room which had the same problem. the hotel needs to be thoroughly pest controlled otherwise its a big health hazard.
