Beautiful location on the lake

Our cabin was dated, old carpeting, and unable to open windows

We were upgraded to a big cabin which was fantastic!

Staff was incredibly thoughtful, attentive and professional. They thought of everything that would make our stay memorable and BEAUTIFUL. Attention to detail was obvious in the cabin where we stayed. Beauty everywhere!

The Tamarack is a historic inn in a gorgeous setting. A lovely place to spend time. The historic rooms are small by today's standards but clean and comfortable and add to the historic experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental but good.

I wanted to share what an excellent experience I have had with Bruce Ray Thompson, III, who is the Front Office Supervisor at Tamarack. He is very warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable about the property and the Mammoth Lakes area. When I stay there, I always stay in the cabins. I stayed at Tamarack several times during last winter and he was very helpful, especially getting the luggage to and from the cabin in a mini Sno-Cat. He, along with his colleagues have given me a 5-Star experience. Thank you Bruce

For the prices this place is a major disappointment.
