Pets are not allowed in the following room types: Queen Room & Queen Room with Shared Bathroom On the day of booking, 50% of the total reservation plus applicable taxes will be charged. Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until July. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Beautiful scenery and setting next to a pretty lake. Staff was excellent!"

We never walked the medium distance to main lodge for only a cold breakfast. We had stayed here before and knew we’d be staying in a ‘rustic’ cabin. We enjoyed staying in our cozy cabin and got what we came for…beautiful setting and polite and helpful staff.

Cabins were very rustic but could be better if updated bath and kitchen

"Comfortable rustic cabin"

Reallyu nice, rustic cabin, with good space and comfortable living quarters & beds, bathrooms etc. The continental breakfast at the lodge was a nice bonus with good variety of tasty breakfast foods, fruits and beverages. Shout out to Bruce , he treated us well!!

"Excellence in a rustic and gorgeous setting"

We rented 10 or so cabins at Tamarack for our anniversary in September. We can't say enough about the accommodating and friendly staff at Tamarack! Everyone went out of their way to meet our every need from the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance staff to the e-bike rental kiosk, true hospitality rang through. We will be back. Thank you for making our celebration extra special with your care.

"Wonderful Service"

My wife made reservations for us to stay one night at the lodge in Mammoth CA. A one day stop for us and chance to meet up with relatives. At my age, 78, I’ve experienced numerous people in the service industry. I believe the Tamarack lodge has a super employee named Bruce. He extended exceptional care and service to us during our stay. Helped us getting to our cabin while we drove to it when he had to walk. Later in the evening he fixed the heater and gave pointers on its operation. His positive response to our needs was outstanding and I believe The Tamarack Lodge has an exceptional employee, one who holds his customers as number one! Recommend they don’t loose this man. He cares!

"Fantastic Fall Getaway"

Tamarack Lodge is our favorite place to stay for annual visits to the Mammoth Lakes area to view fall foliage. The resort is surrounded by the beauty of nature and conveniently located for adventuring out to enjoy the area. The cabins are cozy and equipped with everything needed. On this trip we stayed in Cabin #8 which has two large windows looking directly out to the lake. The staff is very attentive and helpful.
