Novotel Ha Long Bay,

amazing hotel, close to the centre staff very friendly and helpful

Such a quality place to stay for the price. I would stay there again. The area, however, was still a heavily construction zone which made pollution a concern. Not a lot of quality places to eat around the area as well. Perhaps in 5 years when construction is done with the European malls, the area will be a better place to visit. When visiting Ha Long, please do your part to keep the place clean and minimalize the use of plastic.

Perfectly located hotel with excellent facilities. Room was the nicest we have stayed in Vietnam. We were really taken care of, man who did our laundry was lovely and when we got ripped off by a taxi driver the hotel reimbursed us - can’t fault our stay. Also would highly recommend seafood buffet

We booked a room with a view, assuming it was of the bay. Upon checkin we were advised it was a view of a construction site. To get the room with a Bay view we were told we would have to upgrade our package to include the breakfast option.

Great hotel but construction to right in front for 14 hrs per day Sat by pool listening to jack hammers

We paid in advance for 3 nights through Hotels.com, which in hindsight was a massive mistake on our part. Arrived late and almost left first thing in the morning due to the noise. Finally decided to cut our losses after 2 nights. Basically, next to a building site with loud rave music being played at pool area in an unsuccessful attempt to drown out the noise of the building work. Check out staff didn’t even ask why we were leaving a day early and politely smiled when I enquired why they hadn’t asked. Said it all really.

Luxury city! Best bed, bath and pillows imaginable!!

Awsome place,great staff and fab food.some 24 hour construction across road but good luck escaping that anywhere here,few beers and ear plugs fix that.music poolside is great but repetitive after few days.all said n done would go back for sure as price very resonable and great location.

Stayed at the Novotel for 7 nights. The staff were excellent and very polite. They organised a day/ evening on Ha Long Bay for an evening sunset tour. The Lobby Bar was very relaxing and inexpensive. Food was of a high quality in the bar area and their signature restaurant. The pool has a great atmosphere. Rooms were spacious and clean. We ventured out to local markets and street food within walking distance. Thoroughly recommend this hotel to any one wanting a relaxing holiday away from the crowds. Thumbs up Novotel. 👍
