Maidan Palace Hotel

Stayed in that hotel last week, Its in front of the main road, one block from the independent square Where the revolution happened in 2014. Location is excellent, lobby quite normal. Room size is ok 。staffs attitude average, nothing more nothing less. Breakfast has enough choices. Next time try another one. Just a reminder if you book hotel with river view, the location is not convenience at all

If you are a pilot, businessman, foreigner or come with children, do not even look to book this hotel. Today we have got an awful night - we booked a Junior Suite with terrace room which comes out to be at the backyard of the hotel and the terrace is merged with the place where the staff spend their spare time for smoking, telling jokes and even drinking the alcohol, and that does not bother them at all to do so at 12-2 am. We were forced to leave the hotel at 3 am for better pace to have a sleep at, though the friendly girl appologized at the front desk. Generally the room is neat and nice, but the nightmare impression ruined everything we - my pregnant wife and my kid - thought about this hotel. We still have another booking at this hotel on the 29th of Dec, I am trying to request a refund for my Dec 29 booking or upgrade, otherwise I am going to file a lawsuit.

- Considering hotel facilities, hotel is really old and expensive and hotel photos in the internet were different. You can stay all inclusive resorts near sea for this price in some countries. - Room was too small old style and it requires really good renovations. Since I stayed for business even there was not chair in the room for desk. - Hotel staff was not so friendly, they are generally sulky. Maybe they don’t know how to smile and tell good morning, good evening etc. - Sauna and pool was really old style and for this hotel price, hotel should make really good renovations. Pool was dirty. - Gym was so so. It requires improvements. - Breakfast food varieties and quality can be enriched. + The only really good thing was the location of the hotel. It is very close to center square. As a conclusion, I don’t think to prefer this hotel for my next travels.

. . . . not a 4 star hotel! . . . . the front of house staff are not very welcoming (there wasn't even a doorman when I arrived!), the rooms are very small and the Buddha Bar will keep you awake at night (it did me!). The free wifi took ages to connect as I had to fix the wall socket first as it was hanging off the wall! The doors to all the rooms seem to be designed to close as loudly as possible (which also woke me up regularly) and the restaurant was closed on my first night for a private party. A simple two course meal for two with wine in the Buddha Bar cost £150.00 but it was -8 outside so I didn't fancy exploring after a 14 hour journey to get there! That will be a separate review! If you want a centrally located hotel this place is perfect but if you want a 4 star hotel and 4 star treatment this is not it!

An excellent hotel right in the centre of Kyiv. It is near all the amenities you would want- restaurants , cafes, shopping, transport , sightsetc, yet our room was nice and quiet. Staff were terrific- very friendly and helpful . Breakfast was great - fills you up for most of the day ! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed the weekend in standard room. The staff is very welcome and helpful. The hotel in the center of the city and Close to all main attractions distance walking. Very good breakfast for the european hotel - fresh vegetables, scrambled eggs and omelets some cheese and salami, sausage and more... Coffee and many types of juice and many sweet and cakes. The hotel spa is free till 11 and then it cost -to much for my opinion also the water very colds. Mini bar with fair price.

The Khreschatyk Hotel is located in the middle of Kyiv. It's a 4-star with 5-star services and staff. My flight and ride in from the AirPort put me at the hotel at 0030, check-in was quick and flawless. I was dead beat and expected no food or drink to be available, instead, there is a 24-hour bar in the lobby and you can get light fare all night. That eased my jet lag significantly. My room was spotless, but admittedly a bit tight due to the large and very, comfortable bead. The bathroom was also spotless and perfect for an unaccompanied guest. The fridge was well stocked including bottled water. All very reasonably priced. The breakfast service was great. Throughout my stay, the staff helped me with directions, printing, and replacing cables I'd forgotten. Khreschatyk will be my first choice on my next visit. I loved it.

I was for a few days in the Capital of Ukraine Kiev city. What makes remarkable memory is Hotel Kreschatyk where I stayed. First of all, excellent location. Heart of Kiev and less than a 100 feet from independence square. Also, I would like to emphasize comfortable room with air conditioner and huge shower room. There are so many restaurants around the hotel but we like to have breakfast in the hotel only. Everything was taste so good and delicious. In a hotel, the staff are tasked with taking care of guests. I would rated 5 stars that wonderful place.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect! Right on independence square. We booked the basic room choice and so stayed on floor 1. The room itself was ok but as soon as the lift door opened onto the first floor it was stinking of cigarette smoke. This then made its way into our room. So much so we kept spraying our deodorant and perfume to try and get rid of the smell from our room. And walking through the corridor to the room was vile! We went to the restaurant one night and my husband ordered a steak and said it was delicious (although they never gave him a steak knife and he did struggle to cut it). My chicken was absolutely delicious although the mashed potato was cold. All in all we enjoyed the restaurant and the hotel foyer was lovely! We could hear the music thumping from the night club below our room but it didn’t stay on mega late. If you are an early bedder then maybe don’t get a room on the 1st floor! Or a non smoker!

Last year we visited the hotel very much and it was great this time the visit was completely different! ,Before booking we contacted the hotel and asked about the type of room we stayed in on our previous visit, a large room Newly designed room ,Prestige Room ,After the call we booked the room and sent an email to customer service to check that everything was arranged, the answer was that the room as I booked last time should be noted that the reservation was made a month and a half in advance ,We arrived at the hotel we got a room on another floor, we got a room and a small room, a very old room, we went back to reception, we were told that the occupancy of a full hotel and no other room existed, for an hour and a half after flight and late arrival This is not the kind of room we booked, we were told to wait and spend one night in this room and the next afternoon we will get the room we booked a month and a half in advance! ,We ended up having to stay in the room until 3 o'clock in the afternoon the next day we received the room we booked, very disappointing that we did everything in advance and were promised We spent a lot of hours on customer service and room replacement, it should also be noted that unlike last time the spa area cleanliness was not good the pool was very dirty , In conclusion There was an expectation since we were at this hotel last year and very much enjoyed it This time a big disappointment!!!
