There was a Morrisons nearby. The cleaning staff were friendly.

At check-in, the receptionist unwelcoming, which meant that we were uncomfortable to go to him with any concerns we had. The room was uncomfortably hot, with no air con. No one in our family slept well, and felt unwell with the heat. There were cobwebs in our room and clear signs that guests had previously smoked in the room, despite the no smoking policy. There was a £5 charge to use the leisure facilities, which we were not aware of until after booking.

Location and views with quiet calm feeling, even though it’s busy

Room was a bit tired, definitely required updating but still just about ok. Gym and fitness area was busy with public not guests which wasn’t clearly mentioned when booking.
