Blue Chip Casino Hotel and Spa

Staff was helpful. There wasnt a loading and unloading area for the hotel guests. We had to track down someone to help with a luggage cart. When checking out, no one was around and there werent any luggage carts to be found. The property is nice, but the cigarette smell was unbearable.

Was clean, good security. First time to this location, basically easy to get around. Good staff.

While the room was non-smoking, you could smell the smoke in the lines on the bed. Ended up buying a blanket from TJ Maxx to sleep with because of it. Also the smoke smell in the elevators was strong. Parking was a bit weird as there wasn't close parking for hotel guests unless you wanted to pay for Valet. Lastly, they lock the TVs so you can't plug in a streaming device and can only use YouTube and Netflix - not a deal breaker and we found a way to get Paramount+ via YouTube but was an added inconvenience. Overall, hotel itself was clean. Casino was nice. It did its job as a decent hotel room but with the smoke issues, not sure we'd stay again.

Not as nice as expected for a Casino (lights burned out in the bathroom, bathroom exhaust fan not working), but overall…fine. Clean rooms/bath, comfy bed, quiet through the night. So “A” rating for needing a convenient place to stay while in the area.

The Blue Chip tower is VERY dated. From what I heard, the Spa tower is where you want to stay. Casino isn’t very nice and dining options are limited. I wouldn’t come back.

We stayed in the older section. Comfortable, quiet room and very clean.

Strange place overall, stayed here recently for a wedding. Booked the spa tower and the room itself was very nice and the bathroom was quite impressive (love a shower bench). However, major gripe is $12.99 daily resort fee, which provides access the 1 of the gyms, the indoor pool, 2 very small water bottles, and access to the room safe (which has been included as standard in every hotel I have been at). The included gym was absolutely ridiculous, it has to be the worst hotel gym I have seen. Equipment consisted of 1 very old treadmill, 1 elliptical and a couple of weight machines. Not even free weights! I honestly thought it was a joke, not at all up to standard of a $200+ night rate and one that has a $12.99 resort fee. It is crazy that they charge you an additional $25 feet for use of the nice/normal gym!!! Very insulting and feel 100% ripped off. The pool was also a joke, stained tiles in hot tub and smelled so strongly of chlorine, walked out immediately. Last gripe is the coffee shop. Not sure what is going on but it took 20 min to get coffee with only 1 person in front of me, pure chaos! 100% will not be back and wish i knew I would have access to better amenities at the holiday inn express.

The room was nice and located right next to the theater for the show we came to see. We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants in the casino because there was a smell of smoke. There’s nothing within walking distance of the casino to eat or do.

Just loved the atmosphere in the hotel. Very comfy and cozy.

It's very misleading to use another tall building in the website. The actual building for Blue Chip is another ~7-floor building, which is old without much amenity. But it charges resort fees!
