The staff was excellent.

Was there several months ago as a family member had died who lives in pembroke. We checked in about 3 or 4 am explained the family death explained we were exhausted. I had business several hours later and got no sleep but my bf was awakened by house keeping at normal check out time which was frustrating. We checked out but booked again due to family things and it happened again the next day. Even though I had the do not disturb sign up and the door bar secured house keeping entered and in the room. I was told I was not on the late checkout list. I left complaining to the front desk where like others I was treated like a liar and fraud. The first words were well I'm not giving you any refund. Never asked for one but i actually desperately just needed sleep! The owner who does love saying he is the owner is a real piece of work. Because there is really no local competition I think he feels he's all that. He runs an overpriced dump in the middle ofa broke town no one likes!

Close to where I needed to be

The room had a pet smell, bed had a big dip very uncomfortable, I had to complain to front desk about people upstairs walking and stomping nearly 2 hours in the middle of night. And to top it off I mistakenly left my diamond anniversary ring in the room and the hotel claimed they didn’t see it.

The staff at this hotel are amazing from check in to housekeeping even maintence everyone was pleasant and helpful and kind
