Für 1 Übernachtung am Airport, genial .Mit dem Shuttle, alle 30 min. , hat alle geklappt. Essen abends: Buffet- sehr lecker, Genug Auswahl, Preise angemessen.

Baustellenlärm am nächsten Morgen, direkt auf unserer Etage.

The hotel is bit further away from the airport but is served by a shuttle bus.

"great airport stay"

My mum and I stayed here for two nights - once at the start of our trip and again at the end. Service at the front desk was welcoming and efficient. The general manager was really friendly and chatty which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable and we felt perfectly safe throughout our stay. The shuttle which is located at the bus terminal is fairly easy to find and comes every 30 mins. Be careful for someone showing you to the stand where the shuttle comes - we thought the man worked there but was a scam so we had to give him some money. When you get to the bus terminal hall, there’s a sign with Protea hotel on one of the openings. The breakfast overall was very good. I wasn’t so keen on the cooked breakfast items, a bit different to what we get in the UK but the rest to choose from we enjoyed. Would absolutely recommend for an airport stay in Johannesburg.
