Eine japanische Erfahrung der sinnlichen Art Vorab: Wenn Sie ein Luxus-Hotel suchen, dass man überall auf der Welt finden kann mit Buffet und Wahl à la Carte: Wählen Sie nicht Wanosato. Hier finden Sie eine japanische Erfahrung für alle Sinne. Es beginnt mit dem höflichen Fahrer des Shuttlebus‘ der Sie die 12 Kilometer von Hida-Takayama in die Natur fährt. Es geht weiter über die Empfangskraft, die Ihnen entgegenkommt. Holzfeuergeruch schlägt Ihnen entgegen und bevor die Formalitäten starten, dürfen und sollen Sie sich bei grünem Tee und Mochi stärken. Sie werden aufs Zimmer in japanischen Stil geleitet und alles wird Ihnen eingehend erklärt. Wann wollen Sie den Onsen alleine nutzen? Wann zu Abend essen? Im Schrank finden Sie japanische Kleidung, die Sie auf dem Gelände nutzen können. Es wird alles getan, um Ihnen den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Zum Essen: Sie erhalten JAPANISCHE Kost. Darauf müssen Sie sich einstellen und das müssen Sie wollen. Vor allem das Frühstück mit Misosuppe mit Muscheln, Reis, rohen und gebratenem Fisch, Spinatsalat usw. ist für Menschen europäischer und angloamerikanischer Essgewohnheiten besonders. Wir haben jedes gefüllte Essstäbchen genossen und gefeiert. Der ganze Aufenthalt war wundervoll und ein absoluter Kontrast zu den großstädtischen Erfahrungen in Japan. Das Rauschen des Baches rund um die Uhr, der Geruch von Holzfeuer und Petroleum, Sake nach dem Essen am Feuer mit amüsanten Zaubereinlagen, alleinige Nutzung der Onsen… Wir haben Wanosato ungern verlassen, aber gingen mit einem Strahlen im Herzen und innerer Ruhe. Der Wunsch nach einer Rückkehr wohnt nun tief in uns.

Beware that dinner might be a little bit overwhelming for western taste. You might request changes in advance, tough.

Un des plus beaux endroits où nous sommes alles Tout est merveilleux L’emplacement près de la rivière dans un immense calme Les chambres sublimes et spacieuses Le personnel est d’une très grande gentillesse et l’accueil adorable Les onsens sont superbes, surtout la grotte avec son bain chaud et son bain froid Les repas, digne d’un restaurant étoilé Vraiment n’hésitez pas c’est un endroit magique, hors du temps

Un posto da sogno, ti riporta al Giappone antico e tradizionale. Tutta l’esperienza (cena, Onsen privato, colazione, dormire in case del 1860) vale davvero la pena.

Le cadre et la chambre sont absolument extraordinaires. Une vue sur la rivière, un site de rêve, une auberge ancienne magnifique

Le diner se veut gastronomique mais il était surtout esthétique. Chaque plat méritait sa phioto. Mais le goût n'était pas toujours au rendez-vous. Finalement assez basique.
