Hilton Garden Inn West Des Moines

Check in was a breeze and the woman at the desk was so friendly! Bar was great, room was clean. Jacuzzi was great as well! Would definitely book again for a night away!

The lcoation was great. I liked the overall cleanliness.

Missing a rack in the bathroom. Only two pods of regular coffee. Breakfast was EXTRA on top of the steep price already. The tax on our one night stay was near $70 on a 140 dollar room!!! That is not the fault of the property, but somehow, someway, I feel that the partnership with booking.com and others should reveal this and be transparent about that pricing issue. I find that to be an outrageous, ridiculous tax amount that is ADDED ON TO THE PRICE.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights to get all of our Christmas shopping done and gifts wrapped. We ended each night at the lobby bar. Anka (spelling?) and Mike were wonderful to talk to! And the food was really good! We enjoyed a show at the Funny Bone nearby as it turned out the headliner was also staying at the hotel!

Spent three nights here for a business trip in October 23. Hotel is clean and comfortable fitness center and restaurant were just fine. Food was actually pretty good. The highlight of my stay was the front desk staff help and changing my room late one night related to noise from any air-conditioning unit. Lisa, on the front that should be the model of customer service for the Hilton!

The curtain in the room would not roll up ,room 348 The shampoo bottle fell off the wall.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to a few attractions, shopping, and the pool / hot tub. The room was clean and for the most part the staff was friendly. The pool area and hot tub were nice, but the hot tub jets didn't work. The entry area, pool area, and hallways were a bit noisy as there were lots of kids running around from a baseball or softball tournament. This isn't the hotel's fault, but it definitely affected our stay. If you simply need a room for the night in this area then this would be a decent option. For what we paid, though, we probably wouldn't stay here again.

Hot tub was not hot enough, jets did not work and pool was too cold. We come there to use the pool so we probably won’t be back.

Stayed here for a family reunion, which the hotel hosted and catered. Conference facility was great and conference staff was phenomenal. Rooms are spacious and clean and on-site food was very good. The property is centrally-located to everything. Great local parks for kids and tons of food options. The on-site pool is great for all ages! They even have a wading pool for toddler and little kids not ready for a big pool. Definitely recommend this property not only for conferences and events but also for general stays!
