"Cleanliness not up to standard"

Stayed 1 night at the Courtyard by Marriott Birmingham Trussville. Room was not thoroughly cleaned prior to me checking in. Toenail clippings were visible on the side of the bed. Later saw a few strands of hair on the bathroom floor. The following morning as I sat on the bed, a ladybug fell from the ceiling into the bed. I looked up and saw several ladybugs crawling along the ceiling!! I quickly packed up my suitcase and left the room. I stopped at the front desk to share my concerns about cleanliness and the bugs. I was told that I should have mentioned the cleanliness issue to the evening staff and they would’ve moved me to a different room. I own that in that I did not feel like coming downstairs to have it addressed. The hotel employee also stated that there is a ladybug issue in the entire state of Alabama and that homes and businesses are having the same problem. Just matter of fact with no empathy for my experience. I will not return nor recommend this hotel to others.
