Sands Motel Niagara Falls

The shower looked like you should wear sandals in it while using. There were cob webs in many areas. A large spider above one bed. The room smelled like it was sprayed down with cologne right before we entered. I felt itchy the next day and was paranoid about bugs.

They had big cockroaches the shelve on the wall fall down almost hit my daughter the neighborhood was nice but to my surprise this place I heard another guest couldn’t lock their door as we were standing outside a fly flew right in a hole in the door hole in door than when I told the owner/ manager they didn’t care no concerns about my complaint I will never go there again beware of this reviews seems good but I guess it was lies it’s alright if you are homeless

The pool doesn't have heat water and the rooms small bad about smoke also shower roor problems with hot water

Smell so bad, staff is nice

I’m not sure what room they used for photos but it looks nothing like the photos. I don’t expect perfection from a motel but I do expect cleanliness. There were cigarette burn holes on the bedding. Threadbare carpets with mystery stains. Peeling water stained wallpaper. Very unclean in general. Squished fly guts on the bathroom door and I don’t want to know what kind of stains on the walls. Not worth the high cost to stay one night.

The bathroom floor, walls, and radiator were not well maintained. It was hard to imagine they were clean when they were in such bad shape. The bathroom window was fully open without a screen, possibly inviting small animals in. I am disappointed that Orbitz would offer accommodations of such low quality.
