I stayed here one night to attend a nearby event. I found to room to be decent enough but water would spew from the sink knobs when I would run the water and there were bugs on the bathroom floor. I could hear EVERYTHING the people next to my room were doing and I requested to be put in a different room but the extremely unhelpful person at the office window (behind bulletproof glass btw) said he couldn't change my room although there were several vacant rooms. Later on in the night, a few of the other hotel guests decided to start blasting music from their cars in the parking lot around 2am and the staff clearly did not thing about it as they would go back and forth from their car to do this several times. When it was time to check out (mercifully!), I asked the staff member if he could watch my bag for a few hours, to which he refused which then necessitated me searching for another hotel that would allow me to check my bag without being a guest there. While I did not expect this place to be a palace by any means, it managed to greatly exceed my worst expectations. It is NOT cheap, NOT in a safe area, does NOT have good staff, and just isn't worth the trouble. Do not stay here under any circumstances!

The location was relatively close to some tourist areas.

Rooms were beyond filthy. Hairs stuck to the walls, light switches, baseboards, walls covered in dirt and grime, and clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages. The shower had previous peoples stubble and hair on the walls. Didn't really want to touch anything in the room. The hotel is in a very rough area, and we were followed back there after a walk nearby by a man who had a gun and tried to pull it on us. Stay here at your peril

ROACHES EVERYWHERE. Roach feces in every corner, sticky dirt caked floors, dirt caked AC unit, chewed gum stuck on wall, unknown spatter on door frame and walls, blood dripped on wall in restroom, lifted metal trim on floor with sharp edges and dead roaches underneath, dirty headboard, stained linen, broken GFCI receptacle, hair in shower, cars drive 10 inches from your window because the parking lot is so small, and the room REEKED of cigarette even though the rooms are non smoking. The window was open when we got there.
