Holiday Inn Express & Suites - CUT OFF GALLIANO by IHG

This is where I stay if I'm working in Fourchon . Had some bad experiences at other local hotels so this is a reliable place . Clean rooms , better than standard HI express breakfast., good wifi (good enough for Netflix). They gave an evening buffet when I was there . Sandwiches cake etc which was good. However at $170+ tax it's expensive so marked down 1*. New hotels either side will hopefully give some price competition. Tip: eat at cafe Wow next door , suprisingly good

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past few years for work. Parking is not an issue. The majority of the visitors are here for business. The internet speed is good. Food: Upon arrival there usually are cookies and juice available next to the check in. There are a few places nearby (driving distance) to eat. The breakfast is the standard Holiday Inn breakfast consisting of cinnamon rolls, an omlet of some sort, biscuits, toast, apples, bananas, and juice. There is also a pancake machine. There is a business center consists of a printer and a computer. The room layout is typical of the Holiday Inn Express chain. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. I prefer this hotel over any in the area because of the beds. The rooms are clean. The prices are higher due to limited options in the area.

Isabel and her staff take great care to help you, the included evening snack and morning breakfast are great. Recommend staying here. Thank you for the quiet night sleep. For local food, make sure you stop by Mommie Jo's, Cher- Amie's; and two buidings down is WOW which has a bar open until 9pm. We will return.

We had to evacuate from our vacation site because of flood waters and they were so nice and accommodating when we got there. They even let us use an outside outlet to plug in our little freezer. They could not do enough to make us comfortable.

Silent bedroom, Comfortable bed and pillows, clean bathroom, free wifi, free continental breakfast with good options. Close to Port Fourchon. The staff is wonderful! Very kind! What else should I want?! I really recommend. Congratulations for ll the team !

Friendly staff and very helpful. They offer afternoon finger foods to customers. It is clean and nice accommodations. Its one of the newer hotels in town and nice furnishings. With the limited places to stay in town, it is kind of expensive for a Holiday Inn Express.

This hotel is new. Everything is bright, fresh, and clean. The bed linens and towels were a very nice quality. I had a wonderful stay. The breakfast is their usual-which I find has a little something for everyone. Everything was well stocked and set up very early, which is good for the oil field people. There was a large selection of fresh fruit-bananas, oranges, and apples during my visit. There is no pool, but there is a nice sized outside sitting area under cover. The front desk staff were EXCELLENT. My husband is a helicopter pilot so he stays in a trailer in Galliano for 14 days while flying during the day. Now that this hotel is open, I will be able to visit him more frequently because this is such a nice place. I hope that the no smoking and no cooking rules area strongly enforced so that this hotel stays fresh and clean. Also there's lots of free parking and the free Wi-Fi worked very well. Our first visit to the area and so far the best one in our current travel history with Holiday Inn Express. We owe this to the most friendly staff we have ever encountered. The rooms were fresh and clean. Even though there was no swimming pool, which was something my wife and daughter were looking forward to, my wife was delighted with the assistance she received from the manager, Mrs. Isabel. She had share some local recommendations on things to do in the area while I tended to my meeting which helped me a lot. We enjoyed everything from the minute we walked in, to the minute we walked out. Definitely will choose this location on our next trip.

I stayed at the hotel for a week. The rooms are nice, the breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. I had a small issue with my a/c in my room and it was fixed right away which was impressive. I really appreciated the amenities and the IHG Rewards Reception that was held in the evenings. The staff really made it a worthwhile place to stay--especially the manager. Next time I'm in the area, I will absolutely stay at this location since it the best. Felt secure and room was quite.

This facility employs the rudest manager I have ever encountered in all my years of staying at Holiday Inn's. The only way a business can operate with such disrespectful employee is through poor ownership. After my encounter with this location, Holiday Inn has forever lost my business. Please heed this review and find another hotel to stay at. For the price of a room at this location (extreme price gouging due to the offshore personnel) you can stay at the Marriott in Houma. Steer clear, please!
