"Historic B&B mmakes for great stay"

Walking up to the door, we fell in love with the front porch with swing and lovely landscaping. The Inn keepers were warm and welcoming and provided a concise orientation to the property along with the impressive history - a bonus for us! Our room was large with 2 big windows- tastefully decorated and comfortable. Common area provided complimentary soft drinks, juices, water and ice. The breakfast was delicious! We are still talking about the tasty omelet and pumkin pancakes. Overall, a relaxing stay. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

"Great place for a getaway"

We were attending a nearby wedding and looking for something a little nicer than your typical chain hotel and we certainly found it - the Carriage Inn is a well maintained place only a couple of blocks walk from the heart of Charles Town. We had the copper beech room which had a very comfortable king bed and huge jacuzzi which unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to use. We had a delicious breakfast in our private screened patio served to us by our truly gracious innkeepers - couldn’t say enough positive things about them, including for the local history lesson - the house itself is quite historic. A definite stay if you’re visiting the area, and while I can’t speak for the other rooms, ours was perfect for a couples getaway.
