Barefoot Beach Pad

Thanks to the staff of the hotel. I enjoy the complete services, especially I loved the view of the beach the environment and going to the beach each morning . The location of this hotel is very convenient to go any city in the north part of Dominican Republic, including taking public transportation.

Barefoot looks directly onto the beach. You can hear the waves from your room. Location is great and close to everything you need. The hidden gem here is the food. Chef Ben whips up everything from Poke Bowls to Americana-style burgers. It's all delicious and one of the best places to eat in Cabarete! Great trip and a great stay.

The owners were hands on. I felt like I was staying at someone spacious home. I was greeted warmly and I had an uncomfortable situation. The owners were so understanding and were happy to help in any way they could. Even day with my mom who is suffering from dementia and calmed her down to the point she went to bed.

Barefoot Beach Pad is a true gem. What a view of the splashing water and calming waves. Service is second to none from the wonderful owners, who go out of their way to get you anything to make your stay better. English is spoken and not frowned upon. The breakfast is delicious.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Barefoot Beach Pad. The staff are incredibly kind and willing to make the stay in Cabarete as good as possible. Very good prices for what you get; a pool, balcony and right on a unpopulated beach! Would highly recommend staying there. Great food too!

I'm writing this from my hotel room balcony overlooking the pool and the blue ocean as a good breeze blows by, and I can't believe this gem of a place. When you check room prices, you're not expecting half of what greets you at the door of the Barefoot Bead Pad. The rooms are spacious and clean, with beautiful high ceilings, comfortable new beds, solid water pressure, and AC. I felt like family when I rang the doorbell at Barefoot and owners Ben & Evelyn, and BBP team member Andres greeted me. There was no formal front desk check-in, just an offer for a beer on the house and a quick tour of the room. The hotel grounds are secure enough to leave your door open as you wander down to the bar/restaurant for home-cooked Israeli or Dominican food (you can even get chicken tenders or a burger, if you're looking for them!). Ben and Andres make everything to order, so you can sit by the pool and watch windsurfers fly by while they fry hand-breaded chicken tenders or falafel. Last night, I hung out by the bar with Ben and his wife/co-owner Evelyn, swapping stories about their days when they were two journalists traveling the world. If you love dogs, the hotel has 2 resident furry friends who love to hang with guests. Evelyn & Ben have a great relationship w/ local restaurants and tours, so book through them for discounted rates! The wi-fi is strong enough to give your friends & fam serious FOMO from the hotel, and my family is already booking a trip back next month. Can't wait!

The host and her family were simply amazing I stayed from March 27 to the 29th and I had a blast....the last time I came here I only met Hector this time I met his sister and husband and I felt like family...first...the hotel is SPOTLESS......the pool is amazing I swam in it the last day I wish I jumped in it earlier when I first arrived. They have a dog and cat which are both very friendly and keep to themselves. The sisters husband was the life of the hotel an amazing addition because he can cook ANYTHING ...he made General Tso chicken in the middle of an all day storm in minutes!!...I have never seen that before...the barefoot wings was much better then any chicken wings I tasted in Cabarete hands down..just ask him..point at the menu and watch the magic...I will definitely stay there again because honestly I’m a New Yorker so we are picky people and let me tell you honestly...it wouldn’t make sense to stay anywhere else...this place is too sweet to pass up plus it is perfect for big family and couples whether double couples or triple plenty of space here and a private beach with NO hasslers trying to to sell you stuff...they also have a new tiki bar and in a couple months their restaurant should be up...JUST BOOK IT!!!

Off the beaten path, quiet and low key spot. Enjoyed swimming in the surf and the tasty food.
